Karl Jenkins

Karl Jenkins is the world’s most performed living composer, and the subject of this landmark documentary. We will follow Karl’s career from ad-man and jazz musician to one of the most well-known contemporary composers worldwide and hear from those who’ve worked with him including Bryn Terfel, Dame Kiri te Kanawa and Terry Waite amongst others. We will also see some of the key events in Karl’s life over the past year including the performance of The Armed Man in New York on the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

This documentary will air on BBC Wales during 2012.
